Our Team

Matt commenced his career in the legal industry in Wagga Wagga in 2008, starting as a law clerk with a local regional law firm. Whilst working full time, Matt studied law via distance through the Legal Profession Admission Board, and was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2013 after completing his Diploma in Law.

A twelve-month secondment at Coolamon as part of his clerkship (which ended up lasting nearly twelve years!) emphasised the importance of being part of the local community, and provided an opportunity for Matt to work in a wide range of practice areas including rural and residential conveyancing, commercial leasing, estate administration, wills, powers of attorney, appointments of enduring guardians and succession planning for farming and commercial businesses.

Born and bred in Wagga Wagga, Matt’s focus is in building long term relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their goals in a practical and cost effective manner. In his spare time, Matt is an avid reader, with a personal library of 10,000+ books (and climbing by the day!)
